Marie Caraccioli, owner and operator of Carabella
Facial Spa, is a licensed Medical Esthetician,
Instructor, Permanent Makeup Artist and Eyelash
& Eyebrow Extension Expert with more than
5 years experience. She provides training and beauty services to
an impressive list of clients. Marie has enjoyed
years of helping others feel and look more beautiful
whether it be with facial treatments, permanent
makeup, or eyelash extensions.

Marie has the distinguished honor of being the very
first Certified Eyelash and Eyebrow Extension
Specialist in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.
Marie
loves seeing the expression of joy and delight on her
client's face when they see their lashes for the first
time as it adds an overall youthfulness and sparkle to
their appearance. Marie is very proud to be a certified
lash extension specialist and instructor. She is
exceptionally skilled and educated in her field and is
devoted to teaching others the importance of proper
training and safety.

Marie Caraccioli has developed her own advanced
technique (The Carabella Technique [patent pending])
of applying eyelash extensions that helps lashes
last longer with beautiful results.
|
|
|
Marie began offering eyelash extension in 2004.
After attending two certification classes with
different companies and still not learning anything
above and beyond the very basic techniques, she
decided to experiment with different methods,
patterns and styles of lash application and design. After several applications, she began to notice that not only
were her clients coming in less frequently for lash
touch-ups but they had fewer repairs.
She was delighted and so were her clients!
Marie soon became fondly known around Baton Rouge
as the “Lash Lady.”

Marie
is now willing to share her knowledge and experience
in the “art of eyelash extensions” with
beginners and advanced technicians who are serious
about learning the proper techniques, design,
sanitation, after care, client consultation, and so
much more of eyelash extension application.

and resources to help provide superior service and
gain enthusiastic repeat eyelash extension clients.

| CLASS
OVERVIEW |

|
Trainees can earn their Certifications at Carabella Facial
Spa located at 11920 Perkins Road, Ste. B,
Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which features a
conference area for lectures and spa beds for
hands-on training. |
| ·
|
Each trainee will have his/her own spa bed to practice
his/her technique on live models. Instructors
will keep a close eye on each trainee's
progress and provide guidance every step of
the way. |
| ·
|
Class time is typically 9am - 6pm but usually goes a bit
longer, especially the larger classes. |
| ·
|
Each class allows continuous hands-on practice, teaching you
the correct, safe and most efficient way to
apply long-lasting, beautiful eyelashes
|
| ·
|
Our
one to one or one to two ratio allows Marie to
spend more time instructing and evaluating the
student(s). |
| ·
|
Our eyelash extension workshops are 1 full
day. You will learn two methods of
application, original and Marie's advanced
technique. A list of standards must be
met during and after the class to become
certified. Simply attending an eyelash extension training workshop
does not guarantee certification.

You must show an understanding of your state regulations and
sanitation requirements. You must also
demonstrate safe skills, technique, and
knowledge of the products.
|
| ·
|
You
must be licensed and insured
appropriately in your state to offer these
eyelash extensions as a service. Please bring
a copy of your professional license to the
workshop. You will not be admitted without it. |

|
Training will cover: Product knowledge, Safety/Sanitation,
Consultation, Marketing, Insurance, Technique,
Mannequin practice, Live model practice. |

A
model is required for the one day
course. If you need assistance finding a
model, please give us a call.

Training
prices include the cost of a Basic Eyelash
Extension Kit. |

At
the end of the workshop, you will have the
opportunity to purchase
products at a 15% discount. |

OFFERING A PRIVATE, ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING CLASS, WHERE
YOU WILL LEARN NOT ONLY THE BEGINNERS METHOD OF
APPLICATION BUT ALSO THE ADVANCED METHOD, FOR ONE
LOW PRICE OF $1500 (a savings of $800). IF YOU
SCHEDULE BEFORE 2009, EYEBROW EXTENSION TRAINING
WILL BE INCLUDED FOR AN ADDITIONAL $300 (a savings
of $400) (eyebrow kit is additional). |

Private training is a fantastic way to focus on your
eyelash extension practice and receive full
attention from our professional staff. The
small student-to-trainer ratio allows for
individualized attention. The instructor will
zone in on your specific needs and train your
accordingly. |
|
|
The training is held at our facility and allows the
student to train with one of our expert instructors
at his or her own pace. Private training is intended
to surpass the expectations of the serious
professional wanting to embark into a career as a
eyelash extension professional. |
|
|
Our one-day (8 - 9 hours) comprehensive training is
an intense theoretical, as well as, practical
hands-on curriculum. You will be instructed in
the art of applying eyelash extensions properly,
product knowledge, safety and sanitation, client
consultation, insurance, marketing, mannequin
practice, live model practice, and removal of
lashes. Technique is the single most important
aspect of the application. Without proper
training, a technician would find it extremely
difficult to successfully apply eyelash extensions
which in turn would have a negative impact the
reputation of the technician and the salon.
Additional items covered are: tapering, highlighting,
layering, glamour lashes, working with thin, curly,
or unruly lashes, light colored lashes, sparse inner
eye corners, bridging gaps, utilizing specialty
lashes. Day 2 is a 5 -6 hour class focusing on the
application of extensions to lower lashes

& STATE REGULATIONS |

Our
certification workshops are limited to
individuals who are State Board licensed in
Cosmetology, Make-Up Artistry, Esthetics, and
the Medical Field, as well as Salons and
Day Spas. |

|
State
regulations for the application of lash
extensions vary from state to state, so it is
important that “you”
research the requirement for your state and
comply with any laws and requirements
concerning the application of any lash
extension products |

Any individuals,
Salons and Spas interested in attending our
classes are required to fax a copy of their
State Board License. Upon review, they
will be contacted by Carabella Facial Spa to
reserve their seat. All students are required
to bring a valid state issued photo id and
their State Board License on their first day
of class or you will not be admitted. |

You must purchase
a kit before taking the Certification Workshop
class. |

Students who have
taken other extension courses must take our
workshops to become certified and purchase

There is a
non-refundable charge of $200 should you
CANCEL your workshop MORE THAN ten (10) days prior to your scheduled training
date. |

If you
cancel your workshop WITHIN 1 (one) to 9
(nine) days prior to your scheduled
workshop date, a non-refundable charge
of $350 will apply. |

We prohibit the sale & use of our products to
individuals who have not successfully completed our
training and certification workshop, therefore no
monies will be refunded for workshops regardless of
circumstances unless and until all products
purchased are returned. |

If
you do not cancel your workshop prior to
the workshop date, we will not be able
to refund any of your workshop fee. |

| Rescheduling |
| |
|
Should you need to reschedule due to an unforeseen
conflict, we will do our best to accommodate you. We
ask that you inform us as soon as possible. A
rescheduling fee of $150.00 will apply if you
reschedule within one to ten days prior to
workshop date. |

|
If you do not reschedule within 24 hours of your
scheduled workshop date, it will be considered a
cancellation. If you do not attend your scheduled
workshop and have not rescheduled you will be
considered a no-show and no portion of your
workshop fee will be refunded. |
